Who Set Guidelines for Resuscitation?
The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) sets guidelines for resuscitation in accordance with the worlds leading experts on resuscitation. These guidelines are then adapted by the resuscitation organisations within your area, in Europe guidelines are set by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
These may also have some local adaptations as in the United Kingdom; this is done by the Resuscitation Council (UK), and in Eire by the Irish Heart Foundation.
Resuscitation guidelines changed in October 2010. Survival-linx Solutions has updated all instructors and all courses are provided using the latest guidelines.
